Contrary to what some people might believe School is not just about classes, homework, and exams. It is also about exploring new passions, meeting new people, and discovering what you are capable of. The CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) program is a core component of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, requiring students to engage in projects that foster personal growth and community impact. The program spans the duration of the IB and encourages students to step outside their comfort zones while developing valuable skills. At our school, CAS is overseen by Mrs. Gracia, who supports students in their projects and ensures they meet the program's requirements. These student-led initiatives allow you to express your creativity, challenge yourself academically, and make a meaningful impact on school and outside communities. Whether you love art, enjoy solving problems, or want to develop leadership skills, CAS provides the perfect space to do all that and more. In this article, we are highlighting some of the most exciting CAS projects available this year.
