Disney’s Descendants and Zombies have earned their place among the studio’s highest-performing film franchises, resonating with millions of young fans all around the globe. Both series take the classic Disney formula—catchy music, colorful characters, and strong messages about identity and belonging—and remix it for a new generation. Descendants dives into the lives of the teenage children of iconic Disney villains, exploring redemption and self-discovery, while Zombies tackles themes of inclusion and acceptance through a world where humans and zombies learn to coexist. Together, they’ve shaped a modern Disney era defined by diversity, empowerment, and a fandom that thrives on creativity and connection, making the upcoming Worlds Collide crossover feel like a cultural event that’s been years in the making.

The first leg of Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour just ended, and it turned out to be the most chaotic, glittery, high-energy Disney event of the decade. The tour officially kicked off on July 17, 2025, in San Diego, California, and ended September 16 in Fort Worth, Texas, with 43 shows lined up across North America. That’s nearly two months of pure Disney Channel and brand-new energy colliding in arenas packed full with thousands of crazed fans. If you grew up blasting Rotten to the Core on repeat or memorizing the choreography to Someday, this is your moment.

The cast for the tour was absolutely amazing. On the Descendants side, we had stars from the newest film, The Rise of Red, including Kylie Cantrall, Malia Baker, Dara Reneé, and Joshua Colley. Meanwhile, Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires featured Malachi Barton, Freya Skye, and Mekonnen Knife. Rising star Malachi Barton especially turned out to be a favorite among fans of the franchise. Longtime fans were delighted to see original Zombies stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim make surprise appearances throughout the tour. The setlist mixes throwback hits and the newest songs: Rotten to the Core, Ways to Be Wicked, and Someday (aka the songs we all know by heart) plus new additions like Love Ain’t It, Red, and The Place to Be. As the cherry on top, they dropped a brand-new single called Worlds Collide, a track made exclusively for the collaboration. Even with a killer soundtrack, the show’s success isn’t just about the music; it’s the immersive, full-on performance what captured fans’ hearts. Choreography, costumes, lighting, special effects, and moments designed to make the whole arena feel like it’s part of the story are also the reason for the sold- out arenas and added dates. Audiences aren’t expected to sit politely and clap like a school recital. Instead, the tour is marketed as "interactive", encouraging fans to belt out lyrics until their voices crack, dance until their feet ache and feel as if they´ve been transported right into Auradon and Seabrook. Imagine thousands of teens and kids all scream-singing “Someday” together- chills!

Now, let’s get to pricing. As it is a Disney show, it’s not exactly cheap: tickets range from regular arena seats, which go for around $37 to $40–$45 dollars. Mid-range tickets are around US$80–US$130 depending on location, view, and its position regarding the stage. Finally, Premium VIP experiences can cost up to $150 to $200, including perks like early entry, exclusive merch, and in some lucky instances a meet-and-greet. So, if you’re planning to go, prepare to start saving, negotiating with your parents, or casually hinting at “birthday + Christmas combined” as an excuse. Unfortunately, not every fan is going to have a stop near their city, since the tour only covers regions in the U.S. and Canada. But don’t be disappointed: there are discussions about a potential Leg 2 occurring in late 2026, with plans for a global tour including the UK, Ireland, Latin America (!), Germany, and Australia. Given the overwhelming success of the first leg, a second one seems likely in the cards. As a once-in-a-lifetime tour, attending it is a must for dedicated fans. Live concert tours have become increasingly rare, making it a rare gem among Disney shows.

At the end of the day, the Worlds Collide Tour is giving fans exactly what they’ve been secretly hoping for: the chance to live inside their favorite movies for a night, surrounded by people equally passionate about them. Being the Descendants and Zombies generation, this show is the perfect opportunity for a look- back into our favorite movies and their catchy songs. It’s flashy, it’s dramatic, it’s a little over-the-top—but that’s Disney Channel, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. If you get the chance to go, prepare to lose your voice, spend too much money on merch, and leave with the memory of saying, “Yeah, I was there when Descendants and Zombies literally collided.”
